About Tiffany

Tiffany is motivated to combat all types of interpersonal violence and oppression and has dedicated her career toward pursuing this goal. She currently works as a project manager and consultant, providing assistance to both the public and private sectors through partner engagement, training and curriculum design, operational capacity building, event planning, case consultation, and many other services.

Tiffany’s experience includes her role as Partnership Manager for Allies Against Slavery, where she served as liaison for current and prospective partners using the Lighthouse platform and helped lead the efforts of the Central Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking. Prior to this role, she spent two years at the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, Human Trafficking and Transnational/Organized Crime Section, where she managed special initiatives, strategic partnerships, and policy efforts; assisted on cases involving sex and labor trafficking; and trained more than a thousand people on the dynamics of human trafficking. Tiffany also previously worked as Program Analyst for the Texas Municipal Police Association, specifically on statewide training projects related to child abuse investigations, including a pilot program to train multidisciplinary professionals to identify and investigate pediatric strangulation. Her career in anti-violence began with a year-long internship as a Victim Advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic. Additionally, Tiffany also previously served as Assistant Director at Xplor, a nationally accredited premier early childhood school, where she performed executive tasks and managed the daily operations of the business.

Tiffany has worked extensively on special initiatives and training programs for a diverse range of professionals, and her areas of expertise include child abuse, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. She also has vast experience facilitating large multidisciplinary groups, coordinating complex events with diverse partners, developing and implementing operational policies, and effectuating change through policy and advocacy. Tiffany’s direct work with survivors of interpersonal violence and her own lived experience informs her perspective and ensures she never loses sight of the reason she seeks justice. She believes in approaching violence prevention through education, collaboration, and advocacy and seeks to change unjust systems to ensure better outcomes for programs, professionals, and survivors.

Tiffany obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida, which provided her the theoretical and practical framework for engaging in intersectional activism and violence prevention. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys books, live music, traveling, and exploring the latest food spots in her South Austin neighborhood.
